A real insider tip: the Marquet sparkling wine cellars in Pommern

hicks.
In our home series we have already dealt with good wines several times. For example with the Leo Fuchs winery or the Hubertus Vallendar distillery . But since Pommern has a lot to offer in culinary terms – which doesn’t just refer to excellent restaurants on the Moselle 😉 we can’t withhold the Marquet 🍾 sparkling wine cellar from you. Winemaker Klaus Marquet is the seventh generation to produce sparkling wine using traditional bottle fermentation and of the highest quality. The traditional, complex and time-consuming process of making wine bubbles directly in the bottle is called Méthode Champenoise, i.e. champagne process. The Sektkellerei Marquet produces sparkling wine for international winegrowers, but also sells its own sparkling wine. We like him very much and would therefore like to recommend him to you. If you are in Pommern – preferably during a stay in the Mosel Chalets 😉 then have a look at Klaus Marquet. He is also happy to explain the champagne process in person. And you can take the delicious winter champagne with you right away 🥂
The website of the Marquet sparkling wine cellar is currently being redesigned. However, you can find them personally at Kapellenberg 1 in 56829 Pommern, about a 5-minute walk from the Mosel Chalets.
