SUP and canoe tours on the Moselle 🚣🏽♂️☀️
March brought us lots of sunshine, time outdoors and great anticipation of summer. And we are grateful for this, as March was otherwise unfortunately rather sad news.
We have already given you lots of tips for excursions for your vacation on the Moselle. Strangely enough, we have so far neglected the Moselle itself. Quite wrongly, because you can of course experience much more on the Moselle than the well-known "panoramic cruise" with bockwurst and a solo entertainer 😉
Why not hire a SUP or canoe and go on a short tour? You can not only hire equipment from Udo and his team at Mosel Kanutours, but also book guided and unguided tours.
We would like to recommend one tour in particular: The day trip by canoe from Ernst to Treis-Karden. After a thorough briefing, you will start 15 kilometers downstream past Valwig, the towering rock massif Brauselay, Cochem, Pommern and our Moselle chalets, along the largest nature reserve on the Moselle to Treis. The return transport is of course organized and if you would like to continue directly by bike, rental bikes will be provided at the end of the tour. The pure paddling time is about 3 hours and you can arrange it and stop when and where you like.
And in the evening you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of Riesling on our sun terrace right next to the vineyards 🌅
