Our goal was to create something special for your vacation. Modern architecture, sustainability and a sense of well-being are the elements we have placed the greatest emphasis on. We built these houses for people who are looking for just that. Whether it’s a holiday, a winery vacation or a creative getaway. Of course, you can also combine work and vacation with us. Our small family business is looking forward to your visit!

We have built the Mosel Chalets according to the highest standards. We have therefore also chosen the highest quality and most sustainable construction method: The wooden construction method. When you enter a wooden house, you simply feel it. A healthy, warm and special indoor climate. Sustainability and (environmentally) responsible thinking and acting are important to us. That is why our vacation homes comply with the latest thermal insulation regulations. They are built from regional wood and are powered by photovoltaics and certified green electricity.
But sustainability means even more to us. A healthy balance of ecology and economy, fairness towards all partners, regionally responsible action and commitment to worldwide climate protection projects. We are particularly proud of our real family team. Holger Maurer, owner and operator of the vacation homes is indispensably supported by his wife Jessica, sister Gaby, brother-in-law Andi and mother Anni. You can find more about our family team here

GOOD TO KNOW

Each vacation home has its own garage. Both your car and your bicycles are safe and protected here. Wallbox and charging facilities are provided for e-mobility. The train station in Pommern is 200 meters away from Mosel Chalets. So you can perfectly explore the Moselle also by train and bike.

You can look forward to the pleasant warmth of the underfloor heating and the warm incidence of light through the large glass front in the colder season. In summer, our exterior curtains and a well thought-out ventilation and blackout concept protect against too much heat. We have deliberately dispensed with air conditioning for reasons of sustainability.

Unfortunately we do not allow pets. Unfortunately, we cannot make an exception – that would be unfair to other guests. We love children and have some of our own. However, the architecture and vacation concept of the Mosel Chalets are designed for families with children from 12 years. We sincerely ask for your understanding in this regard.

In our two other accommodations, the premium vacation home “Das Farmhaus“or in the “Genuss Cottage”younger children are very welcome.
